For more than 38 years, women have sat in my beauty chair and trusted me with more than their hair.

Their struggles with confidence.

Their worries about feeling different than they once did.
And over time, I realized something important.
Hair changes are rarely just about hair.
For many women, hair is connected to confidence, identity, femininity, and how they see themselves when they look in the mirror.
When a woman says, "My hair doesn't feel like mine anymore," she is often expressing something much deeper.
After hearing these conversations for decades, I knew I wanted to create something more than a beauty service.
I wanted to create a place where women could feel seen, supported, and encouraged through every season of life.
What 38 Years in Beauty Taught Me
The biggest lesson I learned is that women do not just want products.
They want support.
They want guidance.
They want someone who understands what they are experiencing.
Many women don't necessarily want to look younger.
They want to feel like themselves again.
They want confidence.
They want wellness.
They want to feel comfortable in their own skin.
That realization became the foundation of Sage Island Health.
